Body from a 2000 Squier Standard P bass special. The body is fully functional, made for a great bass; but I did some work on it so there are a few things of note:
-I widened the cavity, and went a hair over the line. you can see it peeking out from the pickguard by the jack.
-These have "neck size" bridge pickups. I sanded down the screw ear area to fit an after market pickup. stock pickup is back in, a few nicks on the cover.
-this is an after market pickguard, so there are some secondary (added) screw holes.
-I recently put in new mini 250k pots, .047 orange drop cap and a switchcraft jack. The soldering ain't pretty, but it works!
-Added a Fender Hi Mass bridge.
-otherwise in fine shape! I don't have an exact weight on the body, but it's a 8.5 lbs bass.
-I also have the neck, and might be persuaded to let go of it as well
$80 OBO shipped, CONUS, PayPal.
thanks for looking!
