Man, what a fun bass to play! This is something with loads of tonal potential.
The neck mudbucker has that classic girth and thump. I can imagine if you put some flats on here just how sweet it would sound for classic rock or reggae.
But don't count out the bridge pickup, OH NO! There's a lot of output and it's in no way thin.
When you combine them, it's got a classic-meets-modern thing.
The 32" scale is a blast to play, too. Very easy on the hands, but it doesn't lack any bass. HOWEVER... if you think this is a small bass, you are wrong. It's got a wide (P-style) neck/nut, 19mm spacing, and a big body. I'm a big man and I hate small basses (because I feel like Shrek behind one), but this is full sized. It weighs right about 9lbs, but I'll get an actual weight soon.
I replaced the knobs with something a little snazzier, but will include the push-on originals.
The bass plays great, frets have little wear to none. It's been played and shows some marks, but nothing drastic. It's a Squier... not a Stradavarius. It was meant to be played with gusto.
No case or bag, sorry. But I pack really well, so rest assured... you will get it in primo shape.
