Are these all the same or is each a custom build kit; Isn't it 300 watts @ 8 ohms/ 500w @4?

BTW, whats the dimensions? 5x7x2"? and does it (top/sides) get very hot during/after a long gig?

I cant say for sure if each one is built to customized specs but, this unit is 300 watts at 8 ohms and 500 at 4 ohms (I will update the post). I will need to measure it but, it about the size of two guitar pedals and very light.

I've used the unit for rehearsal sessions and it's never gotten scorching hot. It gets warm but, warm enough to hold comfortably with no safety risks.

thanks, I found online they're 4x6. very cool kit! I wish it came with the speakon connector. Is the new build (2019 with bass specific caps?) Just learned about this, and im getting da' GAS

I love mine and custom ordered it with a speakon. If speakon is a deal breaker, I'm sure it can be retro-fitted for a small cost. Just reach out to Jay Ganz, who builds them. I use the MESA Subway DI as the pre amp and it sounds amazing.

I don't believe this is a 2019 model, as I picked this one off the TB classifieds back in February. I've had no problems with it on bass and was able to keep up with two guitars and a drummer in rehearsal. I primarily picked this up for a possible 6 string guitar rig, and it's way too much for a guitar, so I ended up using my 20 watt Ampeg SB12 for guitar and bass recording.

I have a Le Bass DI on my board and we upgraded our backline with new Berhinger class D amps, so I have no need for this unit as a backup. One time (in bandcamp ), I used this amp with an Acoustic 360 preamp and a Peavey T-40. Sounded Killer with ample punch.

Wow, just the right size to keep a pot of coffee going, if it gets hot! Yeah, I'm getting old.

yeah me too (old that is), with this and all the other new micro gear, you may not need that 8' speaker in your avatar any more.

Im liking the idea of this more and more with my Stomp or other Pre
