This 2012 custom made Surine Quest NTVII 6-String bass is Used and in Excellent Condition. The only visible blemish is some clearcoat chipping on the bottom point / butt of the body (see photo). Otherwise, the bass is mint.
The back of the neck is perfect with no wear, the frets are excellent (no grooves or flat spots) and the fingerboard shows light string wear / finger marks from normal use. The has been professionally setup with new strings, very low action and proper intonation. This listing is for the bass, original Surine/Levy's padded gig bag, truss rod adjustment wrench, original certificate of authenticity and warranty card.
Designed by Scott Surine and built with master luthier Kenneth Lofquist, the Surine Quest bass is a high-end, neck-through boutique bass on par with builders like Fodera, Ken Smith, F-Bass, etc; the retail price of this bass in 2012 was $6,195 (that would be $8,464 in 2024).
