The Dr. Wattson is based on the preamp of the legendary early 70s version Hiwatt Dr103. It has been modified to make it more suitable for pedal/preamp use while staying true to the original Dr103 design. The most recent version of this pedal includes a modification to drop the output level, but it is still LOUD and fully capable of driving any power amp.
