This here is a sweet rig. The balance of power and portability is really amazing. I purchased this after much buying and selling as the ultimate lightweight portable rig that is easy to use and makes no tonal compromises, and it did not disappoint.
But alas I quit my band a bought a house, so I can use some money more than a perfect gigging amp right now.
I can schlep the cab (it has very comfortable handles), a lightweight amp over my shoulder, and my bass in a gig bag on my back in one easy trip in to the club. Amazing!
The covers are also really durable. The cab cover has these cool little straps to hold it on! And the amp sits perfectly on top of the cab with a little bracket. How German it all is!
The cab is an S212 4 ohm (to get the full power from the amp). It packs quite a punch. The drivers are vertically aligned, which I love because it makes it taller (bringing it closer to the ears) and the dispersion is optimal.
