This bass guitar is "The Heritage Chuck Jacobs 4". The previous owner claimed this was an employee build from The Heritage factory plant in Kalamazoo, MI (former home of Gibson). Plays nice, sounds nice.
This bass has some very interesting specs: radiused body, two-piece maple through-body neck, and solid flame maple body wings (not veneer!)
The body has the original finish worn through in spots. Dings and dents abound. The original electronics were completely replaced with passive EMGs, new pots (Alpha 500k), and new wiring (VVT with 3-way switch). The knobs and cavity control cover (cover and cavity shielded) are also replacements.
No logo or serial number exists on this bass. A hardshell case with "The Heritage" silkscreened logo is included.
I bought this instrument here on TalkBass: https://www.talkbass.com/classifieds/heritage-custom-flamed-maple-4-banger.937856
Asking price $900. NOW $750. I will consider shipping in the conUS to the right buyer at their expense.
I am looking for an in-hand local sale at this time, but truly interested parties may inquire about shipping at their expense. I'm willing to consider trades but would much prefer an outright sale.
Thanks, y'all!
