I have a 5 string set of the coveted Thomastik Flats. Long Scale .043, .056, .070, .100, .136 ONLY THE B STRING has ever been used and it is un-cut with only an hour or so of playtime and little to no visible bend at the bridge. I installed it alongside a used set to test the waters...The E, A, D, and G strings are new and unused in the original packaging.

It may seem like a lot for strings, but these cost $110 new- and I promise them to be as new except for the B. You won't be disappointed. It's like getting a good deal on the 4 string set and getting a free B string thrown in...
I love lots of things about these strings- but they just didn't work well with my 5 string fretless bass. I have 2 other 4 string sets that I might sell that were used for many months on other fretted instruments. Great choice for flats on a P bass- IMO these strings are much more versatile than Labellas or Chromes.
This set is a good way to try them for a little less $$$.
