These are almost new. I played them for about 5 weeks. They were always the best on my bass until I had some cracks repaired, then they sounded like hot garbo. I tried a new set (this one) and it made no difference so I moved on.
NOTE: The extension string winding caught on my bridge. I didn't notice until I took them off, but the string looks pretty rough where it crossed the bridge. Up to you if you want to play it, but I've priced the set lower to compensate. Basically new top 3 strings with a free bottom string of unknown worth.
