I have been on the hunt for a lightweight head and picked this up from the classifieds recently. This one didn't not end up being the keeper for me, but I will say it was a very tough choice. I did another A/B test as I started writing this, just to be sure. I'm still not, but one of them needs to go.
The Trickfish has a very satisfying heft to the sound, but with a very controlled low end. Really like the Mike Pope preamp in this amp and could definitely see owning it again in the future.
