IYKYK. This one has a bit of a cult following. Super raw and untamed. I don’t gig and play at low volumes in my garage. I find myself fiddling with knobs more than playing notes. I know I’m gonna regret this but it deserves a better home. Warning! This guy gets LOUD fast with a clean low volume signal. But I’ve found that it really gets its magic when you feed it a hot signal. It clips and just gets meaner and dirtier but not really too much louder.
Also, it’s the 9v version, so no wonky wall wart.
Now here’s the catch. For whatever reason, the main button is really hard to press. The boost button works fine but for whatever reason, the main button is like this. I added a plastic knob on the button and it feels better to me. I purchased it like this last year and It’s given me no issues whatsoever.
there’s a little bit of wear and surface scratches that I tried to photograph but it’s like 8.5/10 condition overall.
