Nice little Kawai that we both loved. I needed some cash and the Geez was right there to reacquire the little scudder like he shouldn't have let it go in the first place. I know what he means...
I am a seller posting feedback on DaveDeVille as buyer
Lessee here, where to start? First, I talked Dave into this bass (with some requested changes from the advertised one), then I talked him back out of it because a previously interested local party resurfaced. Then I sold it back to him when fore-mentioned strokewad bailed a second time! Then it took over two weeks to accomplish the requested removals and re-installations with another week full of broken promises while I devised a foolproof packing method. This was topped off on Friday when I found out that I never recorded his shipping address and needed it to get it off the dock at work!!!
David gets all the highest marks for patience and calm while having a fair chunk of change floating out here with an unknown quantity - me! I would do business with him again and I would recommend anyone else to feel confident that they will receive the same sort of treatment from this stand-up guy. Salute!
I ordered threaded inserts from Hambone back in January. We had an initial problem with shipping which resulted in me not getting my inserts when expected, but Hambone made it up to me by sending me another set for free. He was very cooperative and professional when dealing with that snag and I would not hesitate to deal with him again.
He also gives idiots like me very good wannabe-luthier advice. The man's a treasure.
Well, he does on bass but that's not the point. LJ was the perfect buyer - he had money!! But seriously, a great transaction with plenty of intelligible communication.
He was tired of trying to hold string tension by his teeth while he played. Said something about his fillings aching. So I sold him some tuners. Perfect transaction with great communication.
