Turns out to be almost a month long saga. Cab was damaged internally during shipment. Donn was smart to video his unpacking process and that along with his photos of the carton and my detailed narrative of the saga helped us get a fair claim payment from fedex, after he had the cab repaired (thanks to Don Barry for the quick repair who also built the cab). Ultimately the cab was shipped three times with different tracking numbers.

Bass is perfect just as described. Great guy to deal with. Will keep my eye out for more deals with Ken. Best of the best.

I simply can't say enough positive things about my purchasing experience with Ken Lloyd. I'm not an experienced 'online buyer' but was attracted by the clear and detailed advertisement for the 555 Heritage Guitar (plus good quality pics) on Talkbass. Being based overseas, I presented a bit more of a challenge as a buyer, but Ken remained totally un-phased and provided great support, assistance and guidance to me (from his own previous experiences and research) to assist me through the purchase/shipping process. Nothing was too much trouble for Ken....he even tolerated 2 x trips to the Fedex store when shipping!!

I now have the guitar and it is exactly as Ken has described it (in fact ... I think it's better!). The packaging was great, the instrument beautifully maintained and Ken even included a lovely note for me in the case .... customer service with a smile!!
