PunkJazzHeavy was interested in a fretless Jazz neck that was left when I parted out a bass for another buyer. He PM'd me about it we quickly reached an agreement on the price. As I write this the neck is still in transit to his location but I am expecting no problems once he gets it and if he does not like what he sees for some reason when he does get it I am confident that we can reach an agreement on the resolution.

Tomis17 was interested in a fretless Jazz I was selling. He really only wanted the body however and since the bass was in poor condition aesthetically I agreed to part it out and sell him just the body. There was some back and forth over that and the delivery options since we almost live within meet somewhere in the middle distance of each other. We quickly reached an agreement on all the terms and conditions and the sale was completed without a hitch.

The buyer contacted me through my for sale thread and then a fair amount of back and forth took place by PM. He always responded quickly and he acted fairly and with a great deal of flexibility. He wanted to see the bass in person and pick it up in person rather than having it shipped to him sight unseen. He was willing to drive to the Chicago area from Indianapolis to make that happen. I got to the meeting place (a Guitar Center parking lot) a little early and he was already there. He was friendly and pleasant to deal with in person. He took some time to evaluate the bass, was happy with it, and gave me the agreed upon price in cash. As far as I can tell friendly and honest transactions are the norm for TB classifieds deals and while there are regrettably exceptions, this deal was not an exception, it was a normal honest TB deal.

Covermego and I traded my Fender Deluxe Active Jazz IV for his Ibanez SR605. Communications between us were answered quickly and accurately. His questions and suggestions on how to proceed were reasonable. He was understanding when a crisis at work and the attending overtime prevented me from packing and shipping as quickly as either of us would have liked. When I was ready he shipped promptly on the agreed day. The bass arrived well packed and undamaged. This was a textbook example of a well executed trade! Thanks Lenny!!
