I had originally sold my FBass BN5 to Mr. Cura and had no issues with the initial deal. Some time later, the bass was posted on the classifieds and I decided to buy it back. Upon receipt of the bass, there was significant damage done to the finish. I brought this to the attention of Mr. Cura and asked for a refund if I paid for the shipping, but this was denied. This left me in a bind since it would take a good bit of time and money for the finish to be repaired by FBass. Luckily, I was able to find someone local who repaired it to a satisfactory degree.
I don't think I'll ever know the true cause of the damage to the finish, but I believe that the bass wasn't packed properly for shipment in a soft case. Overall, the deal to get my BN5 back just left me disappointed.
