Holy crap, sometimes you buy something online that is every bit as good as you hoped, and this is it!
Many years ago, I had my precious Fender Jazz with EMG pickups stolen in Los Angeles. Fast forward to May, 2008, and I see one of the FSR Hot Rod Jazz basses in the local GC. It was the closest in sound and feel to my old Jazz, but I did not pull the trigger.
Thanks to the magic of TB (and folks that take care of their gear), I have time-traveled back to 2008!
