I wouldn't purchase a second item from someone I didn't like the first time I dealt with them. So when I saw Gordon's ad, and what he was offering for the price, I immediately contacted him (he was my first purchase on TB, and I still have the item).
The other thing is that I usually want to see if I can get a few dollars shaved off an item (and my sellers tell me they do the same, when they're buying). I don't even bother with Gordon - he always has a 'value add' in the proposition, making it a deal to me, at least.
By the time I was looking for a shipping confirmation, the merch was already at my door, exactly as he described (I wish all my purchases on TB were the same.) Thanks, Gordon - I hope you get that dream bass
