Adam answered multiple questions in a very timely fashion to help me understand the condition of the bass, which was essential to getting me comfortable with the deal. Once terms were set, shipping was fast and packing was good. Even included some extra strings and a treble PUP bezel, which was a nice surprise. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the entire transaction. Sellers like Adam are why I prefer to buy from Tbass members over any other site...good prices, good people, good experiences.

So, this was listed for sale and could be shipped, but it just so happened I was going to be in his area of NoVA (I used to live there as well). Made contact to facilitate a deal, but Josh was on vacation out west...we made the deal via chat, and since I was in town, I got to see the bass, try it out, and take it home on the plane via gate check. Josh handled all this remotely to get his GF to handle the deal, as I had only 2 days in town to meet up. We met at a music shop where they both frequent (she plays bass as well! How cool is that?) and all was smooth to try it out and do a cash local sale. Josh even upgraded the case to a Fender flight case to make it safe to get home.

This is a great example of what folks on TB are all about. Great deal, honest listing, and going the extra mile to get things done to meet my schedule (and avoid any shipping damage or even baggage handing issues). It was a bit heavy to carry through the airports at each end, but it saved us both money, so it's worth it.

Can't give Josh (and his GF, Kate) enough credit for making this a great experience. I'm a very happy buyer.

Oh yeah, the bass is sweet too!!

Nothing but good things to say about this transaction. Unit exactly as described, perfect shape, fast shipment, helpful and quick communication when required. Upon quick inspection at arrival, there appeared to be a minor issue with a noisy pot. Seller was willing to do WHATEVER it took to resolve it, including full refund, and never once questioned my report - and he gave me some suggestions to address the issue. Turned out some twisting and turning of the knob cleared the dust and all is well, now that I've had some time to actually spend a bit of time with the unit. THIS is what the Talkbass community brings that other forums/sites don't: a safe, respectful, and positive buying and selling experience with good and decent (bass) players, where you can count of folks doing what it required to make it right. I cannot recommend Bikeguy57 highly enough for your future transitions. As for me, I'm a happy camper!

Great buyer; easy to work with; excellent communication and accommodated a meet-up in between our locales. Couldn't have been easier or smoother. Would deal with again. A+
