I received the Stingray Fretless today and I couldn't be happier. Super communication from Matt, instant shipping, and the bass is amazing, definitely exceeding my expectations...a super deal. Not only that, Matt found the shipping to be $20 less than he quoted in his ad and refunded the $20 to my via PayPal! I've dealt with some wonderful folks over the years but never had that happen.
All that being said, I have to talk about the packing of the bass. I have gotten gear shipped to me literally for almost 60 years, from manufacturers, big music stores and individuals. Matt's packing of the bass was far and away the best packing I have ever encountered or even heard about. Beginning with the bass, the pickup and fretboard were protected by a foam pad, the bass body was completely wrapped in thick foam padding, and the neck and headstock completely wrapped in bubble wrap. The bass shipped in a very nice and brand new gig bag, then placed in a box that was filled with flexible foam strips that tightly surrounded the gig bag and bass. THAT box was put inside another box, and that box was filled with styrofoam pellets. Matt could have shipped Waterford crystal and it would have been safe.
Matt is what Talkbass is all about...just beyond outstanding and a privilege and pleasure to deal with.

Before he shipped the preamp, Greg mentioned that the Eden's were somewhat noisy. I didn't realize this, and I explained I was playing in several environments, including the studio, where I needed a quiet rig, having already sold a fairly noisy bass head. He immediately refunded my money and suggested a couple of alternatives for my applications. Just outstanding...I so much appreciate his information, his willingness to work with me, and his customer service.
