Seller accurately described the bass, shipped it on time, and packed it well.
UPS crushed the package, damaging the case and the bass. That's obviously not the seller's fault. Seller shipped it insured, so I started a damage claim with UPS, submitting clear evidence, and seller was initially helpful in pursuing the claim.
The claims process is a hassle, and that's UPS's fault, too. I did as much as I could on my end, but ultimately some steps can only be completed by the shipper/seller. I did my best to explain those steps, but at some point the seller stopped responding to me and as far as I can tell gave up on the claim. I'm out the cost of the damages.
