I recently had a very disappointing transaction with Sam. I purchased a bass from him, and upon its arrival, I immediately noticed a serious issue - a bow in the neck and the truss rod was defective. To confirm the severity of the problem, I took the bass to a professional luthier within hours of receiving it, and their expertise confirmed my fears.

What's more concerning is the seller's attitude towards this issue. They admitted to never having checked the truss rod, as the bass was acquired in a trade. This lack of due diligence in ensuring the instrument's quality before selling it is alarming and speaks volumes about their approach to transactions.

When confronted with the evidence and the professional luthier's documentation, the seller showed no remorse and displayed a complete lack of willingness to help resolve the issue. This behavior is unacceptable and not in line with the community standards we uphold on this platform.

I am sharing this experience to caution other members of our community. Transactions like these not only result in financial loss but also undermine the trust and integrity that is crucial for a healthy trading environment. Please be wary when dealing with Sam -
