As much as I love this bass, i just can't connect with the "Jazz bass" sound.
Valenti V21-J4 with Alleva Coppolo pickups wired up passive with a brand new Emerson wiring harness purchased from Reverb ( Emerson J-Bass Jazz Bass Vintage Prewired Assembly - JB Emerson Custom Prewired Kit for Jazz Bass | Reverb ) but here's plenty of room for a preamp to be added if you want to down the road. There is also a side jack in case you need 4 knobs on top and the battery box wired up but currently not in used.
This is the best playing Valenti 4 that I have ever owned (I've owned 5) but I am more of a pbass guy so I'd like to trade for a late 70s Precision perhaps.
Previous owner had installed a plexiglass thumbrest that is not currently installed but will be included.
