These are really special. I just sold my rare, gold SA-70. Had to sell as another hollow-body entered my collection. No room for two. I was sad selling it, but went to a buyer who is so thrilled with it, and playing it live now. I believe on the SOUND CITY documentary ( a must see ), Josh Homme plays one of these.

These are excellent. I have a SA-70 that I'll likely never sell.

If you guys are trying to make me second guess my decision to sell, you're doing a good job.

Best thing to remember is there is (mostly)another one right around the corner. I sold mine 3 months ago and was sad. Now you're selling yours, and it's great to see and know that there will be others around eventually for me, or you to buy later. This is the fun stuff that makes life interesting. Best thing for us gearheads to do is to have a finely tuned awareness of our deep connections to instruments or other things.....addictions in a way, and to deal with those feelings knowing that all of our toys are just temporary distractions. I apologize for the lecture LOL!! In another life I was a monk, and so now I view collecting instruments and even making music through a more wholistic lens. It's just one part of our lives.

Nice bass. Can you describe the neck a little? Is there a case?

Neck is straight and stable, if that's what you're wondering.
1 and 5/8" at the nut.
~ 16.5 mm string spacing at bridge.
Nice hard case.

Things like this always come up when I'm broke! I'll be in the market for an American bass at the end of this month,but if one a these comes my way,the amurican bass will have to wait another year killer bass
