Great choice for a versatile compressor workhorse. It can handle anything you throw at it, whether you set it aggressively or more subtle. Also, the low-voltage (12AU7) Tube gives your sound character without overheating.
The Snake Charmer has controls for the slope Ratio, Attack/Release, and Emphasis (controlling the amount of high freq compression). The Gain Reduction Indicator (green light) is a good gauge for how your settings are affecting the signal.
This particular model is still just as shiny as ever. Well worth the space you give it on a pedal board. Hope you enjoy it!
