I recently acquired this bass through a trade and reached out to Warwick for information about this Dolphin model. After providing the necessary documentation, Warwick confirmed the details of the instrument, which had been unclear from the serial number listed on their website.

This is an SN TCS not a Pro 1.
SN stands for set neck
TCS stands for tone chamber system. (Thats why is light for a warwick)
These models have an afzalea body, like the streamer stage 2.
Not a Biore body like the sought after early dolphin models. (Which are very heavy)

These are killer basses and one of my favorite warwick models.

I sent all the requested info directed to Warwick and I'm just using the info that they gave me. I'm not an expert nor am I the original owner, so that's what I have to go with, the builder's specs, but yes, either way, it is a killer bass.

I'd like to add, what I was originally told by the gent I received the bass from coincided with what you stated. Where confusion comes in, I went to the Warwick site and used their serial number search, and what I got was-
Dolphin Pro 1 5
Natural oil body
Wenge neck
Ovangkol body
Black hardware

Now this I knew wasn't right and I questioned, so I reached out to Warwick.
Even when I did send Warwick the requested info, I questioned what they sent and they said it's correct, so that leaves us to draw our own conclusion.
