Warwick Masterbuilt Custom Shop FNA Jazzman LTD Edition Serial: 4/006
Extremely rare. A collector's instrument with a breathtaking look and a very solid sound! Handcrafted in Germany in the 'good old' Warwick Custom Shop, only 250 pieces issued 20 years ago.
In excellent conditions, just a few almost invisible dings on the body edges.
All-original, only one tuner needs to be replaced with the original one.
Fantastic sound and versatilty, exceptional neck and frets in perfect conditions.
I can send additional photos, videos and sound samples.
WARWICK FNA Jazzman LTD 2004 Warwick first used Koa wood in 2004 as a top on that year's 250-unit limited FNA Jazzman bass. This wood is found only on the big Hawaii islands at an altitude of 100 to 2500 meters (300 to 8200 feet). In order to avoid endangerment, Warwick used the wood from strongly controlled regions that warrant reforestation, thus making its availability very limited and only for specially selected instruments. The 3-piece body consists of a book-matched AAA koa top, a selected swamp ash bottom, and in-between a 0.5 mm-thick ekanga veneer. The bolt-on ovangkol neck sports an ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl "ellipse" inlays and Warwick initials of the same material at the octave positions. Active J/TJ pickups and active 3-band electronics by MEC are used to capture the balanced and strong sound of this instrument. 3/8" AAAA Koa top US Swamp Ash body Ovangkol neck with Ebony fingerboard 24 Jumbo Bronze (extra hard) frets (Width: 2,9mm/height: 1,3mm) Original mother-of-pearl inlays ("ellipse" / "W") Scale length: 34" (long) Active MEC J/TJ pickups Active MEC 3-band electronics Satin Finish Black Hardware 250 Stück
