Beautiful looking, beautiful sounding bass. Made in Germany in 1997.
  • All wenge neck
  • Pickups are a pair of MEC passive J-bass pickups with an active MEC 2-band preamp.
  • Brass Just-A-Nut
  • Bridge and separate string anchor. So easy to string, so easy to adjust.
  • Easy open control cavity. No screws. Works like a charm.
Appears to be all original. Minimal wear. Electronics good. Truss rod moves as it should.

Comes with a generic but nice hard case.

Price includes shipping via UPS Ground to continental U.S. only.

My ProM 5 has been my main bass for 10 years. It’s an amazing machine. A couple of things: the pups are MEC Gold/Active. Also, the preamp is novel - it’s actually 2 fully independent bass/treble preamps, one for each of the TJ pickups. It takes a little getting used to, but is unbelievably flexible.

Trade for a 2 month old fender American pro ii j bass? Pine body maple neck, case. Bought it a month before I bought a 1996 corvette and I play the vette non stop.
