Here's my Warwick Streamer Stage II 6 string, produced October 14 2015. It's a masterbuilt/custom shop instrument but is basically what a stock 6-string would be if they made one. While I'm technically not the original owner, the person who commissioned it owned it only a month before selling it, and I've owned it since (December 2015).
This was my main gigging bass for over 5 years, and it has seen hundreds of them. So it has normal wear and tear for such use - I didn't abuse it but I also didn't baby it.
It saddens me to list this bass, but I'm not playing much 6-string nowadays and it's not getting the love it deserves... plus it is HEAVY and my back and the bass have become enemies.
The only thing that deviates from "stock" is a 47mm fingerboard radius, and Duncan ASB-6 pickups. I was an MEC purist until I tried these pickups, and they make this bass sound like it truly should. The stock MEC pickups are included in the sale.
Oh did I mention it's HEAVY? I will get an exact weight, but it clocks in just a hair under 13 lbs.
Includes the original binder with certificate of authenticity etc.
The specs are pretty standard for an SSII; for full specs, see the official Warwick page linked below.
Natural Oil finish
Afzelia body
Wenge neck
Gold hardware
For some sound samples, check out "Tortoise Forest" on your favorite streaming music platform or YouTube.
I think this video captures the true sound better than any of the studio recordings:
(skip ahead to around 3 minutes since it's all synth pedal before then)
I'm very paranoid about shipping, especially something of this caliber. I'd also prefer the seller inspect the instrument in person because I admittedly don't have much of an eye for flaws (my eyes are equally as bad as my back). So for now, I'm keeping this local to Buffalo, but willing to drive around 3 hours from here.
