I am looking to let my beloved Washburn AB-35 go. This bass is HUGE.. 35" scale. Jumbo body. Deep, clean clear tones. Strung with DR Phosphor Bronze strings. Has strap buttons, but I have put on the D'Addario Quick Release strap system that hooks up by the neck. It really helps with neck dive. This is a pretty heavy bass. About 9.5 pounds on the bathroom scale.
I have the original case for it as well. Everything works the way it should. Equis Preamp and controls are easy to use and working great. It also has a 1/4" and XLR out from the bass for recording which both work as they should. I will throw in the sound hole cover as well.
Please see the pictures. Shipping this beast will be very expensive. With the case, this bass is about 55" long. Add in the packing and it is well into the gigantic side.
It just sits. I don't play it. I don't do acoustic shows any longer. So it needs a new home.
Oh it is a very limited production 2001. Only a handful were ever made like this, so it is a very nice treat.
