Yamaha BBP35 in immaculate condition. I purchased this bass about two years ago to have a nice passive bass in my stable. These come from the plant with a white pick guard when new- I was so impressed with how cool the dark blue finish looked that I decided to put a new transparent pick guard on it, and really liked the way it looked.
The bass is not a light weight- it comes in around 11 lbs. Condition of the body and paint is as close to perfect as you can get on a bass that has been lightly handled. The lights where I took these pictures are really bright. There is some minor swirling that you can't avoid but that is it- I would bet money this bass is cleaner that the average you will pick up off the wall at your local Guitar Center. Frets and fingerboard are in perfect condition as well. Currently strung with a new set of GHS round core Boomers. Super low fast action on the 34" scale 19MM fingerboard and sounds great. My Ebay ID is jazz5252- feel free to check my feedback there, on Reverb and here- I have sold dozens of high end basses over the years and never had a unhappy buyer.
As I said this is a passive bass- the pick ups are pretty hot and it has almost as much output as some of my active basses. It has a nice growl that works for all kinds of music. Ships in the original case, pictured here, that is in as nice condition as the bass. Price includes FEDEX ground insured shipping to anywhere in the CONUS. No international buyers please. Reason for selling- I have committed to buy a expensive boutique bass I have been chasing for years and need to raise some money for it. I will also be listing in separate posts a pristine Musicman Stingray Special 5 HH and a Zon Sonus V fretless that are exceptional examples as well. If you want to discuss feel free to hit me up on a PM and we can exchange numbers. Thanks for looking! Bass will also be offered for sale on Reverb and locally.
