Details

Haven't used this guy for a few years, so I thought it might be time to pass it along to someone who will get some regular use out of it. I just tested it, and all functions work perfectly. It's in fair to good condition appearance-wise, with some scratches and dings and a missing knob on one of the rear panel controls.

The PB-1 a great sounding unit with some useful features that you don't find on many other preamps, like the built-in active crossover and "real world" single channel parametric EQ. Also, these were built like tanks and built to last.

I might be interested in trading for a pedal (or pedals), so let me know what you have!

$135 shipped within CONUS

I also have a Demeter Minnie 800D power amp for sale in this forum:

Just an FYI for anyone out there who might be thinking about getting into a rack system, when I was testing the PB-1 I ran it into the Minnie and found the two together to be a surprisingly excellent preamp/power amp combo.

Awesome Preamp!!!

I won't EVER sell mine......and if mine broke down, I'd buy one immediately!
But the best part is, it hasn't.....and probably won't.

This is being sold SO cheap! Totally worth it!

Someone is going to get a killer deal here.

Agree with the comment above! I have one I would never get rid of and find it to be one of the most versatile bass preamps out there. I would buy it if I wasn't financing another project. GLWS!

Thanks for the positive comments - since getting it ready to list I have been enjoying playing though the PB-1 and remembering all the great use I got out of it. I would hang onto it, but I've been going exclusively with tube preamps in recent years and I have limited space for gear that I'm not using.

I used one of these decades ago and it never let me down. Reluctantly sold it back in the days of the VB forum. Great sounding pre.
