How to close a thread

They told me to go to upper right corner, " thread tools" however no option to close thread. ? Any other options?

that only works for classifieds threads you start. you cannot close threads in regular forums

This is for a classified ad that I started, item is sold and so I should close it, right?

Did you put a Classified ad in a regular forum instead of the Classified forum? That could explain why you can't close it.

Okay, figured it out. I tried the "thread tools" in the right upper corner on my computer and the options were there to close the thread however they are not available in the iPhone or iPad app.

I have a thread in WTB that I want to close, and there is no option in sight to 'close thread' ... not in thread tools or on the bottom of the page when I go advanced (where I usually close them) ... ??

Someone has changed this I am having the same problem and yes you where able to close thread after posting a reply but no longer for some reason plus thread tools have no spot to close thread ????? Mine is in WTB and I am the OP???

If the thread has been up for a while, it may be too late to edit the thread. You can always send a pm to a moderator and request a thread to be closed. In fact, feel free to pm me and I'll do it.
