September app update: UNINSTALL YOUR OLD APP FIRST

It appears that because the new September 2013 update of the TalkBass app is built on the new Tapatalk 2 engine, the old app needs to be UNINSTALLED and then reinstalled. If you simply update the app, it'll crash or launch to a black screen.

Problem is that the App Store will see an update after you delete and reinstall the app. Letting it update will put you back to the weird black screen.

Did not work for me. Removed the old Talkbass app, reboot, installed app, reboot, installed update, reboot......black screen.

But as I mentioned in another thread, I have Tapatalk installed too, zero issues. Tapatalk is working fine.

Same here. I'm not disabling the automatic app updates just for this. Tapatalk works fine.
