Haha, pretty funny timing! 😄 I’d actually just joined TalkBass and happened to see this thread. The BassStreet poster caught my attention, so I went down the internet rabbit hole trying to track down the names. Definitely wasn’t trying to steal anyone’s thunder - I just completely missed post #2.

Yes, I agree with you. The ad copy says they were all photographed and interviewed. I don’t know if Fender really wanted you to believe they were all photographed in the same space at the same time. If they did, I agree that it’s not very convincing.
You can nearly see the scissor cuts around Leland Sklar's image :laugh:
