• Upload your song to the file sharing service of your choice

• Send me the link in a PM - put your song title and TB handle in the title of the PM and put your effects chain in the body of the message (along with the link)

If we get enough submissions, we could make this one a double album.

It is esssential that you DO NOT CLIP YOUR TRACKS. Be mindful of your available headroom and watch those meters! Maxing out the volume is counter-productive and will destroy clarity, spectral balance, and intelligibility.

Right on. Since you are looking to (possibly) make a double album I wont worry about whether submitting another one will bump someone else. It will be there in plenty of time.

Excellent! The first noise comp was really inspiring to be on, and I've since started writing noise / drone tunes on a regular basis under the nom de noise "Crotchthrottle." I'd love to be on this one as well...

I need to get a hold of a couple mic stands from a friend, and I'll be set to record.

I'll be recording a one take noise/drone track, where I set my bass a few feet from my amps and cabs and use feedback to vibrate the strings in and out of drones. All without touching the instrument itself, but instead "playing it" by adjusting settings on pedals. I recently recorded a crappy video of this in action...

I'll probably record this a few times and pick out the best take, as the results are difficult/impossible to recreate exactly the same every time.

There has only been one submission, so bring it! Don't feel the need to rush; take the time to create something to be proud of.

A note about "tracks" - your submission should be bounced down to either a mono or stereo wav file. There is no limit to the number of tracks you record; that will be based on your choice of instrumentation/effects and the limitations of your recording system.

As long as you all agree, the instrumentation should be up to you: it can be as minimal as running an oscillator into a delay, or a full blown multi-instrumental track. It need not have bass. What do you all think about that?

In addition, this project is on a "first come, first served" basis. Whomever has made a submission by the deadline will be on the album.

I have mine recorded already, I'll mix it and send it over this weekend.

It is a interesting piece [IMOP] and the only effects that I ended up using were ambient reverb and a letter opener.

I would love a group thing, but I gotta come up with ideas... I plan on live drum, bass and guitar, but not how you think. Possible sequencers/keys and what not...
