What is going on with the back button?

I try to navigate this forum and very often I use the back button. Then, over the last 2 days or so, I use the back button and wait for the page to change. And wait. Waiting... Wait some more..

Then I check the drop down on the back button and notice this - thing.

and if I tried to use the back button before checking that drop down, it looks like this...

So, I know, I probably spend too much time on TB anyway, but hey, it's an annoying thing. This appears to be the right place for me to vent about it, so .... is this affecting anyone else or is it just my stupid browser?

I'm having zero problems like this on Safari. What browser are you using?

Try clearing all of your browsing data ("Delete browsing history" in the Tools menu)

I did nothing different, but the problem has cleared up. I was experiencing it for maybe a few days, maybe as long as a week. I use latest IE and I clear all files daily, so browser history should not have been a factor.

Go figure.

Please notify me asap if you ever notice this again. I was able to duplicate your issue, so it's not your system. I suspect a "bad ad" from Google Adsense. They are usually pretty quick to pull these ads.
