Found this on CL today. This has too be a reissue right? It appears to be way too good condition to be original. Also, $2900 is way too cheap!

It's a scam that has been discussed in a few threads here. It shows up all over the country. Hopefully somebody can figure out a way to get this bozo arrested for interstate wire fraud.
Pretty sure I saw this on the OKC craigslist recently also. If not this exact ad, then one pretty close.

Interesting, I e-mailed seller, I'm in CA. and wanted to meet with him to play bass,before I considered buying it.
Seller told me he was in military, getting ready to be deployed.
To just paypal him money and he will ship bass.
Sounds FUNNY to me.
I wouldn't trust him, there was another post of the exact bass and similar story. The seeler told the buyer to bring the money and come alone, I would steer clear of this one.
I just sent him an offer to buy it. If he gets back to me, I'm going to tell him I'm going to send my agent to him with a check for $3,600. He can take $3,200 for the bass and just give my agent $400 back. Sound fair enough?
Awesome. Make sure you specify that he must pay through Paypal because you are out of the country cleaning up an oil spill.
I'm on this. I've gotten an email from the guy, and I told him I want to see the bass. He says he's in California, and the only guy with his alleged name lives in L.A. (he has the same name as a C-list TV star). If this thing is for real, I will scarf it clean up. Otherwise, some fun will be had.
If hes in california why is he posting it on all over the country portland and im sure theres others. it screams scam to me.
