Elegee Custom basses

i was asked by Jon dela Cruz of Elegee custom guitars, a local luthier here in the philippines. to do the photoshoot for his custom work... here's what i've shot so far...

um. i dont like the aesthetic of the basses. they look out of shape, like they were designed without the help of a computer or without checking symmetry, and carved out by hand.

i mean, his skills look quite impressive, but the basses look weird, to me.

and elricks/ritters/benaventes/etc. don't? to me, these look like high-end pieces of wood that you never really get an idea of till you're playing it.

At least a couple of the world's most famous & well-loved pieces were done *w/o the help of a computer* & *by hand*.
I applaud anyone who can finish a completely-from-scratch; if I don't like the aesthetics but it looks for the most part functional, what does that matter? If anyone can do better, well, actions speak louder than words. ;)
