The thing that really pisses me off about ALL these Ebay guys is Shipping...... If I spend 10 grand on a Bass..... you think they could atleast spring for the 100 bux for the shipping????

Had one, a '68. Mine was red & black, with a telescopic attatchment to play in the upright position, similar to a Gibson EB-1.

The wierd tranducer gave a semi-convincing URB sound, but that's about all it was good for. As I recall, its X-long replacement strings were hard to find.

I don't think they made these in 1968. I've never hear of them coming equipped with a floor peg.

The original owner of my devil was Larry Spalla of Conquest Sound. He told me he bought it brand new in '68.

Next time I see him I'll ask if the peg was a special-order feature, and which dealer he bought it from.

That is pretty cool. It,s the only fretless I have ever seen.
