How is the neck on those things. A 6 string J sounds nice, but I don't want a giant J neck x 1.5

I played Jorg's 6 string LEJ bass when I was trying out the Schroeder cabinets and it was "THE" bass that convinced me to get an LEJ5. I'm not a 6 player but that thing was the nicest and easiest 6 I have ever played, the 5 that I just got IS the best playing 5 I have ever played/owned.

Very nice!

Where's the full, extended review and gigging report? :p

Well I used it on Sunday at a church gig through my 1210L and the tone was awesome, it kept it's tonal character even though I was not very loud. Tonight I used it on a casual/corporate event for a few hundred people in a ballroom of a hotel, or actually two or three ballrooms combined. I used my 1212L and my 1210L along with the LEJ5 and it was tone heaven!!!!! Again the bass held it's tonal character, and I was LOUD, very very even tone throughout the fingerboard. Our soundguys were really impressed with the sound I got tonight, one of them is a bass player and might be looking into getting his own LEJ because he liked mine so much, tone wise and feel wise (I let him play it at soundcheck). The combination of the Schroeders and the LEJ bass is the sound I've been searching for, it is super clean, punchy as hell, and doesn't lose tone whether I'm playing really loud or playing quietly.
I can get a killin slap tone, ala 70's j-bass, and then I can get a great p-bass type of tone with just the neck pup, so in the versatility dept. this bass kicks some serious ass.
