NBD!! (Alembic content and lots of pics!)

I have caught the boutique bug, and caught it bad. Last week it was a Status Graphite, today it was an Alembic. I picked it up for a song on CL, and it sings. Just set it up with some Ernie Ball Cobalts (45-105) and I am loving every minute of it.

While I don't know if it would make Entwistle weep (although my lack of talent may ), but lets just say that I have never played a one pickup bass with so many tones. That filter pre is a BEAST!

Compared to the knob farms that most Alembics are, it is kind of interesting to see one with such an uncluttered face. Not to say I wouldn't love one of the knob farms.

I think it is. In fact, this plays and sounds much better than the Epic 5 I tried out.

The Persuader is a great entry level Alembic if you can find one. And keep in mind, Alembic's entry models are still leaps and bounds over most companies top of the lines!
