NBD! Peavey-T40

Hey guys,

I just got home from meeting with a fellow TBer and have returned with a 1987 Peavey T-40 in black. I absolutely love it! The neck plays better than any Fender I've ever played, the sound from the dual pickups is massive, and the the combination of layout and flatwound strings make this ridiculously comfortable. I went ahead and bought a thick extra-padded strap for it and I literally cannot recognize the problem that some players have with the T-40's weight.

I have found my new "main" instrument. Thanks a ton, Keano, for providing me such a great bass for an awesome price! Without further blabbing, here are pictures:

You are spot on about the neck! I had forgotten how nice these basses really are! I was re-blown away with my new ('81) T 40! The roll over on the edge of the fretboard is superb and was not expected, nor is it expected these days on a brand new sub 700 dollar bass!

Truly a value for the money and a value for any bass! Even all these years later!
