NBD:Squier Matt Freeman P-Bass

After GASing for new CV P-Bass, finally I received my Squier Matt Freeman P-Bass

Amazingly, it is flawless! I can't believe it is $350 bass. Neck is straight and it feels...expensive (I don't know if it makes sense, but that's how I felt)
I compared it with my 2010 MIA Jazz bass and here is what I think.

Body Finish: I cannot find any fault on Squier bass. Color is even and very nice.

Bridge: it feels sturdy. Looks better than my old MIM p-bass bridge but will see if it stays in tune.

Neck: I like the finishing. It is little bit sticky. Different from MIA maple neck but I like it. No sharp fret at all and one dead spot...well that was kinda expected.

After unboxing, I was really impressed. I love my MIA Jazz but I cannot believe it was 4 times more expensive !!!

neck. How dose the pickup compare to
other p bass pickups

I can't say it's not at least a little bit due to "honeymoon syndrome", but my Freeman is currently ahead of my American Fenders, my Stingray5 and my Modulus in the batting order.

Pickup sounds good!!! It is not warm vintage tone though. My MIM p had weak muddy pickup so I am very happy with this bass. First I was going to upgrade pickup and electronic but after gig last night I decided to keep it as it is.
Only thing you need to change is strings I guess. I still cannot believe it is Squier :-D

the bridge looks awesome on those basses. If set up correctly, I cant see why it wouldnt work great for you. Congrats on it.
