I would have hoped for at least chrome or gold pickup covers if not a reissue of the 60's pickup design that everybody else is making money on besides Gibson. (Lull, Lollar, Thunderbucker).
If you look at the bass on Sweetwater, the close up pics show that there is no grain filler under the paint either. The neck is also only a 3 piece all mahogany instead of the traditional 9 ply with Walnut in between.
A total hack job by Gibson. So disappointing and a disgrace to the legacy of the Thunderbird.
