GK/Ampeg?

I’ve been using a GK 1001 rb for years it’s a great amp never found myself needing any more power. I just set the tone controls mostly flat and I’m good to go. The GK with a Ampeg 8x10 sounds huge the down side is moving the 8x10. I was using mine with a couple of Avatar cabs one 2x12 and one 2x10. If you look on E-Bay you could pick one up for $400-500 dollars.

1. Rik's Music Invalid Link Removed definetly the cheapest price. this is where i bought my 1001rb II. i totaly love my head, im sure you will too, tons of power.

2. I have played mine through an ampeg 610 and the sound was just huge! i have played a few other gk amps through ampeg 810's and liked the sound as well although im not crazy about the 810 cab.
