Alrighty! No porn, but here is the thing. From the following picture, do you even think that my hair would move from the "Fro" stage to the "Long" stage? And how long did it take for YOU to get long hair?

Nah...that's not even close to out-smugging Peter. In the second pic, you actually look like that dork on Tech TV's "Call for Help". Not something to be proud of, man.
I'd say let it go another two months, then see how you like it. Or do the twice a year thing like I used to do...Get a trim when school starts, and at Christmas...other than that, it was long and free.

you're fro might last quite sometime. if its like my friends was it'll only get alot worse before it actually gets better. (it'll keep poofing out until it has sufficient weight to pull it down) But the reward was worth it for him, because he's now got hair that make woman drool with envy.

Growing out your hair is a pain in the backside. I am on my 7th month of hair growth and even now it is barely long enough so I don't look like a complete idiot. At first it will get annoying and you will feel like shaving your head bald because it gets in your eyes and mouth.

If you have the patience and don't get annoyed easily I would say go for it.

I'm working on gettin' long hair... well uhhhh I kinda am. I was a while back. You have to stick with it. Your hair will go through akward phases of looking like a terrible pile of ass. Your hair doesn't seem to grow as fast as mine (mine grows hella fast) so the akward phases will last longer. It will take a while for it to get long. I'd say if you wanna be in a speed metal band you are gonna need a few years. But in under a year you'll have long enough hair to get people calling you a hippie.

Just do it.

It will go through the crappy "fro" stage but if you wanna grow it you really have no other choice. When i left school i let mine grow. It was at about the 3-4 month no cut stage and it was down my back within about 7-8 months. I still have it long now(bout 3/4 down my back) and im not cutting it anytime soon.
