Calling all Kubicki owners...how on earth do I string this thing? It's come to that time...and I emailed phil about it...but he said to hpone him. I'm in England and that is just not an option...

Anyone here know how to re-string these things?

There is a wheel on the bridge for each string,slowly spin the wheel until you see a small hole,when you find the hole insert the non ferrell(the ball end)end of the string into the whole and turn the wheel a little until the string is nicely taught and from there you can start tuning the string,apply this method for the other strings and you will be all set.

Thanks for that! I have finally dound out how to do it right...i was having trouble tightening the string round the wheel...I found a method of pulling it taut, then releasing the lever, then pulling it again got it nice and tight and let me tune up! Flawless!

Sorry for the commotion, I was kinda panicking for a second!

Try to get it so theres about 1.5 to 2 raps around the wheel. If you don't know how to take the strings off, untune them as far as possible then push down on the silver bar between the wheel and the knob. Hold on to the wheel so it doesnt all shoot out at once. Pull the strings out and out them on as Jauqo said



well i guess you got it then :smug: . It's kind of a science but aftera while you can change strings just as fast as anyother bass.
