Just bought this Helms Mattew Garrison Signature replica WOW

I'm just going to guess, but I would say flamed maple neck, mahogany body with a walnut tone block (unless that's just the maple neck showing) and possibly a spalted alder top. I'm definitely not too sure about the spalted alder, but it does look very similar to an Alleva I saw.

Yeah the seller said it WASN'T spalted maple, told me it was "some crazy wood from Africa" lol
The switch allows the 2 single coil Helms pickups to be run together as one big humbucker. (the middle cover is just a ramp)

The bass has a Seymour Duncan preamp in it. Controls are Volume, Blend, Stacked Bass/Treble, Series/Parallel switch

Looks like a spalted maple top with a little bit of heartwood right where the neck goes through. Body, kinda hard to tell for me, but looks alot like walnut, but might not be.
It is a tribute to the best! One pretty significant difference is that the Helms uses a zero fret.
I bought it from the original owner who commissioned Josh Helms to build it to his specs. I doubt there'd be much of a court case, this is the only one ever made.
