I was just wondering the nicknames you give your basses. Not actually names but nicknames that relate to bass. The reason im asking for this is because I need a new email address.

i nicknamed my old squier p 'scratchy' after the tone i got when i cranked the tone up and bumped up the bass/treble and dropped the mids on my amp

I only had names given to my basses just recently.
My P's name is "Misty Cummings" and the J's is "Loli Badcock".

I had a black squier p/j which i named black mike
so i call my black MIM Jazz Bigger Blacker Mike
so i call my black MIM Jazz Bigger Blacker Mike
my RBX: "little flame" due to the shape of the head and the playability
my jazz: "battlestar" due to it's size and weight compared to my main bass
note: "little flame" translated from my native language, but the nick "battlestar" in english I often use

I've name some, not all, but a generic nickname is 'boomstick'- I sometimes apply it to whichever bass I'm using. My black Fender Jazz 5 is 'Keith(the soundguy)'s favorite bass', & it really is. 
'The Tree Trunk' is the nick of my T40 as well given to it by a couple of friends. I generally refer to it as 'Godzilla' myself.

i know these are a little "out there," but here are mine:
I call my Musicman Stingray "stingray,"
my Fender Precision "p-bass,"
my Jack Casady "Jack Casady,"
and my Moog Little Phatty "Little Phatty." ;-)
I either have no imagination or I simply don't get the whole naming/nicknaming thing. Obviously YMMV.

My Warwick Corvette is rather obviously been named "Back Ache", I guess it's my fault for not paying attention to physics though.
