I have been out of the scene for a while, sold most my gear, now that life has slowed a bit, time to get back into it before the kids come.
So first I bought the 1984 Made in Japan Washburn Force 8 bass from Ken R in the $150 bass sale, it is a thin fast neck with thump. Ken sold it to me dirt cheap with the OHSC. I was thinking of ebaying it, but it just won't bring enough to justify it and it plays to sweet.
The reason I was thinking of ebaying the washburn:
I was trying to make a deal on a T-40 here but it fell. I wanted one bad, it is the bass I regret selling...ebay's shoot up like crazy... so for those who don't know musicgoround is a franchise that specializes in used gear, they usually have reasonable prices. And list all their stuff on their site. I found out about them in college, there was one in PA. I checked the site out, called up the MGR in MN and cut a deal over the phone. I bought this Peavey T-40 w/ contour case for $340 shipped from MGR in MN. It needed a full setup and new strings, my first setup in 3 years, but really came out nice. MGR has a 30 day return policy that I will not be using. Everything works too!!!
